Why Kobe isn't going to Italy

Kobe said that he would take 50 million dollars a year to play for a team like Milan. Earl Boykins just became the highest paid Italian League player ever at 3.5 million dollars per year. Do the math.

According to Alexander Chernykh, writer for the Russian sports site, the only teams with money are the two Greek Teams (Panathinaikos, Olympiakos) and the Russian teams (BC Khimki, CSKA Moskow, Dynamo Moscow), and I'm pretty sure that even if Kobe would be willing to go to Italy, he'd be more hesitant about living through a Russian winter.
