Jelena Jankovic went down in her fourth round match today, meaning the top three seeds on the women's side and all of the surging Serbs (Jankovic, Ivanovic, Djokovic, Tipsarevic) are now out of Wimbledon.
JJ blames her loss on a bum knee, but also griped about being forced to play on the outer courts, saying:
"They might as well have put me on Court 38...I was almost playing in the parking lot. I almost need a helicopter to go to my court."
She probably didn't do much scouting of her opponent either, as before the match when told she would be playing a "Thai girl" she responded:
"Tiger? Tiger Woods? Are we playing golf on grass or what?"
Tamarine Tanasugarn probably didn't take too kindly to that and went by way of a blistering 71 mph serve to a straight set victory over the world number 2.
